Urban and road

I just posted a few of my favourite shots from my recent Urban Cyclist shoots over on flickr. They're all shot on the new Nikon D800 with Sigma or Nikon lenses. So pleased with this camera, even though a full day of shooting now requires well over 50gb of memory cards without even doing any video!

Adam Williams x Rose 2
Fin and me drove over to visit Adam in Swansea last week to shoot some video and talk about his plans for the summer season. I shot a few stills as well, including this 360 using the Nikon 10.5mm f2.8 Fisheye. Pretty pleased with the way it came out given the slightly odd angle. The video will be on Rose Bikes Bike Channel (http://bike-channel.tv/) in a couple of weeks.

Platzangst RAM shorts - First look.
A box of winter riding kit arrived on my door this morning. Amongst all the knee warmers, rain jackets and socks were these Platzangst "RAM" shorts.
Made from 100% PU coated Oxford polyester, the shorts manage to be both waterproof and breathable and are light weight despite their heavy duty appearance. An added bonus are the 6 zipped vents, 4 at the front and two on the back, great for the push back up the hill.
The "RAM" also comes with loads of useful pockets, exactly where you would need them, and an "uphill ticket" holder ready for those days in the Alps.
To keep things comfy there is an adjustable waist band with "Space Pads", sections of foam placed around the fleece waistline, and a large piece of covered neoprene to the rear to accommodate flex and stretch while pedaling.
The large size is perfect for a 33-34" waist, and they are long enough to cover the knees and knee pads too.

Fin on a road bike
Fin took part in the 12hour race at Cyclothon UK at Brands Hatch last week. Shot this on a tight hairpin near the end of the 2.3mile lap about half way through the day.

Gee Atherton

Rob Weaver - Morewood for MBUK
Shot for MBUK. It wasnt raining when we unloaded the van, but once we got down into the woods it started and got very dark. Ended up having to change the shot to suit but ended up with this corner. Loving the rain in the top left of the frame and the bit of roost coming from the wheels too.

Went up to Meguiar's to shoot for Redline last week. 4 1/2 hours later we had a very clean Audi, unfortunately a bird crapped on it the next day, right down the back window and bumper.
